The sad, sad story of our wiki and Asian Pacific hackers.

So I will no longer be supporting a wiki on NOVALUG.com, as our last wiki was hacked and had been effectively redirecting certain "vulnerable" users for over a month before I had noticed. As it turns out the weakness was actually in the version of PHP our web host was using and not in the wiki software at all. But as it was, over a months worth of backups had been corrupted. I apologize to any users of those "vulnerable" operating systems that may have been effected in the time that the wiki was hacked.

Oh well. I enjoyed it while it lasted (seems as though I was the only contributor anyway). So I have decided not to rebuild it, so in it's stead I give you the following useful sources of information.

The NOVALUG FAQ "Still in it's infancy, but soon to be a place of useful information for people new to Linux and NoVALUG."

Useful Online Links "A collection of the NoVALUG communities' favorite Linux related links."

Linux Documentation on Wikipedia "Wikipedia is easily one of the very best resources for learning some of the more arcane aspects of Linux and UNIX in general."

The Linux Documentation Project Is a volunteer organization that authors, reviews and manages documents about the Linux operating system.
